STUDENT: Oliver Berglund - learn to love it

Say hello to Oliver Berglund, one of our fantastic programming students.

Oliver does his internship at PluckyBytes and talk to us about learning to love programming, workflow and the importance of having inspiring people around.

Describe yourself in three words?

Tenacious, hardworking, communicative

What's your background?

Regular stuff until high school, where I took some programming courses. I hated them, the way to approach problems made no sense to me at first, but I decided that I would get through the tough parts and learn to love it anyway. Now I do.

Tell me about your studies at PSQ?

For programmers, all the assignments will teach you different techniques and ways to implement things, but the most important thing is that you will learn how to efficiently look things up and understand (use) that information. You'll also get used to a workflow very similar to that of the industry, while getting to know new people, which is awesome.

What's cooking/ what are you working on right now?

I'm currently doing my internship at a remote studio called PluckyBytes. The people here are very nice and it's a lot of fun. Can't say much else - classified info.

Tell us about something PSQ-related that makes you proud, happy, or makes you laugh?

Being able to interact and speak with so many talented people here makes me happy.

Do you have any do’s and don’ts for future students?

Don't burn yourself out studying. Also, working on smaller projects during your free time is a good way to improve and learn. Can recommend.
